Extending the Books

To generate Appointments as per your plan, you must run Extend Books. This also defines how far in advance appointments can be booked.

Optional - If the clinicians and clinics use multiple plans you first need to check that the correct plan pattern is in the Time Planner:

1. From your desktop, select Remote Vision and log into Vision 3.

2. Select Appointments - Books, and then Planner:

   

3. From Owner, select the book owner you are setting up.

4. Set up the pattern of plans as required, select the appropriate plan from Plan and then select the weeks to apply the plan.
5. Select OK to save.
6. Repeat for all clinicians and clinics as appropriate.

To extend your books and create the appropriate appointment slots for booking:

1. From your desktop, select Remote Vision and log into Vision 3.

2. Select Appointments - Books and then Extend Books.

3. You may be warned that All forms must be closed, select Yes to continue.
4. Either tick All Books, or highlight the book(s) required:

   

5. Select Extend.

The Appointments Generator screen displays the progress and disappears once finished.
